Team Formation

As usual, LSNZ Invitationals will have a team cap. This year we’ve decided to keep the same system as last year, except that B has changed from 6 to 5 points. The teams event will be capped at 23 points and side events will be uncapped. Grades for everyone can be found on the grading document. Players who haven’t yet been graded will need to request a grade.

Teams with more than five players will be calculated based on their highest five. Also please note that we only do five trophies for the teams event.

There is a limit of 11 teams. Entry is on a first come first serve basis but we will hold three spots for each region (Auckland and Dunedin).

Rules

We play the worlds format, but play the Australasian rules for movement in the maze (covering, panneling, distance, etc.).

Event Registration

Each player should must fill out an individual registration form.
Each Team Captain should fill out a Team Registration form.

Prices are as follows:

Teams and Side Events: $130

Sides Only: $50

In addition to filling out your registration please make sure you’ve paid by 16 Sep 2020. You can click on one of the options above to go to the store page. If the tournament is cancelled or postponed you will be able to get a full refund for any entry fee.

A full list of registered players and teams can be found on the spreadsheet. Players without teams for side events or the main event will also appear on the spreadsheet, so it is a good place to look if you are looking for some spares. Spreadsheet can be found here. The spreadsheet is updated manually, so don’t panic if you don’t appear immediately.
